Comprehensive Air Dispersion Modelling Training and Hands-on Instruction on the use of AERMOD

DURATION: 16 HOURS

This course is designed for entry level engineers, dispersion modelers, and environmental professionals with little experiences of dispersion Modelling; who wish to deepen their understanding of air dispersion Modelling principles or to better understand report prepared by others. The course focus on developing a strong understanding of model fundamentals and includes hands-on Modelling exercises and interactive sessions.

Course completion will enable participants to:

  • Air Dispersion Modelling theory, available models, and their selection
  • Role of meteorology on air dispersion
  • Uses of models and the interpretation of outputs within regulatory compliance
  • Understand the basics of air dispersion model like AERMOD, its input data, and model options
  • Understand the basics of air dispersion model like AERMOD, its input data, and model options
  • Produce and correctly interpret tables, plots, and other output from these models
