Weather Research and Forecasting Model : The WRF Model is a numerical weather prediction system designed to serve both atmospheric research and operational forecasting needs. NWP refers to the simulation and prediction of the atmosphere with a computer model, and WRF is a set of software for this.

European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts : The ECMWF’s ModelEuropean Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecastsional forecasts aim to show how the weather is most likely to evolve. To do this, the Centre produces an ensemble of predictions. Individually they are full descriptions of the evolution of the weather. Collectively they indicate the likelihood of a range of future weather scenarios.
